मंगलायतन विवि में सात दिवसीय योग शिविर का शुभारंभ
अलीगढ़। मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय में एनएसएस के तत्वाधान में 16 से 22 जून तक चलते वाले योग शिक्षा शिविर का शुभारंभ प्रात: कालीन सत्र में किया गया। शिविर का समय प्रात: 6:30 से 7:30 बजे तक रखा गया है। शिविर में योग गुरू डा. शिवकुमार ने राष्ट्रीय स्वयं सेवक (एनएसएस) एवं आयुर्वेद, नर्सिंग के विद्यार्थियों को जीवन में योग एवं प्राणायाम का महत्व बताते हुए योग के गुर सिखाए। छात्र-छात्राओं ने बड़े ही मनोयोग से शिविर में भाग लिया। शिविर में विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव बिग्रेडियर समरवीर सिंह, मानवीय संकाय के डीन प्रो. जयंतीलाल जैन के साथ अन्य प्राध्यापकों एवं कर्मचारियों ने भी प्रतिभागिता की।
शिविर के प्रारंभ में कुलसचिव बिग्रेडियर समरवीर सिंह ने छात्र-छात्राओं को योग एवं प्राणायाम को दैनिक जीवन का अंग बनाने की प्रेरणा दी। प्रो. जयंतीलाल जैन ने बताया कि योग को जीवन शैली बनाना मन, वचन व काया की स्वच्छता के लिए आवश्यक है। विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. केवीएसएम कृष्णा ने एनएसएस, कार्यक्रम समन्वयक एवं अधिकारियों की इस पहल पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए शुभकामनाएं दी। परीक्षा नियत्रंक प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी गोपाल सिंह राजपूत का आयोजन में सराहनीय सहयोग रहा। स्वयं सेवकों में आशीष, विभव, श्वेता, अंशिका, तारिक, शशांक, नमन आदि ने भाग लिया।
